Dəvell, whose name is a derivative moniker, began his journey through life on the east coast before settling out west. As with most people, his journey hasn't been without its trials and tribulations...setbacks and comebacks. From an early age he realized that he was special. Not just because of his attraction to both sexes, but also his affinity to rhythms and the visual arts. To which were nurtured and turned into great talents. Through his childhood he bounced around to quite a few schools over different states, but made sure to keep the arts close. He performed in a school musical and played the violin for many years, which afforded him the opportunities to play in a few ensembles and orchestras.
In high school he was assigned a project that required him to write various poems using multiple styles and a short story. This was out of his element, as he was more creative musically, but he always welcomed a challenge. After he turned in the project he nervously awaited the grade, but was pleasantly surprised with the mark and critique. The teacher stated that she was impressed with a couple of his works. This sparked his interest in creative writing. Throughout adolescence and adulthood he has written several poems, short stories, and a collection of songs. Now he thinks he's ready to take it up a notch and become a published author.
